– How often should I see a dentist? For people with healthy teeth, once a year is sufficient. For people with not so healthy teeth or who don’t take care of their teeth as recommended, we suggest a visit at least every six months.
– Is dental treatment painful? With current new techniques and materials, dental treatment is absolutely painless.
– Is it expensive? Maintaining good oral health is always easier and cheaper than treating illness. That is why we recommend check-ups every six months or annually. The cost will depend on the treatment that you undergo.
– How can I maintain good oral health? You can maintain a healthy mouth if you practice regular oral hygiene (teeth and tongue) at specific times of the day.
– Why do gums bleed? The main cause is doubtlessly tartar; however, some systematic illnesses or hormonal variations (in women) can lead to gingivitis or even periodontitis. For additional information click on our Periodontal Illnesses link.
